Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS)
Diener's Satisfaction with Life Scale is a classic short instrument measuring global subjective satisfaction: not individual areas, but the overall sense of "I like my life" as a whole. It's not about objective conditions (money, status), but about how you subjectively rate your life compared to what you consider right for you.
Before you start
This is a subjective self-assessment, not an objective evaluation of your quality of life. Satisfaction depends on expectations and comparisons as much as on the conditions themselves — you can raise it by changing both your circumstances and what you compare yourself to.
