Traumatic Stress (IES-R)
The Impact of Event Scale-Revised (Weiss & Marmar) is a classic trauma scale: it assesses subjective distress after a specific stressful event over the past 7 days across three dimensions — intrusions (unwanted memories, images, dreams), avoidance (of thoughts, feelings, reminders), and hyperarousal (irritability, watchfulness, disturbed sleep and concentration). It's not a PTSD diagnosis but a measure of how much the event is still "present" and troubling — useful for tracking your state and deciding about help.
